I had a fantastic experience at MetLife for 7.5 years where I was primarily working as an internal consultant on operational excellence.
How would you describe your first year of business school?
Incredibly busy! I always used to joke that business school students couldn’t be that busy, but the first year really proved me wrong.
What do you love about Johnson most?
The answer is easily the community and everyone’s willingness to help one another!
Where will you be doing your summer internship?
McKinsey and Company
What drew you to this company?
I was able to apply to the Marketing and Sales Implementation practice which allows me to be a little more targeted in the work I’m doing.
What drew you towards consulting?
My favorite part of my job at MetLife was building relationships with different departments and designing solutions with them that improved overall performance and I think that’s the goal of most consultants.
What are you most excited for with regards to your internship?
It’s definitely to work on a consulting team. I’m excited to meet new people and learn from them while helping the client.
Any other fun summer plans?
Hopefully I’ll be able to head up to Lake George for a couple weeks.
